What is LA Casual?
LA is all about t-shirts t-shirts t-shirts. T-shirts are a staple in every L.A wardrobe. Black, white and grey are the essentials, but don’t be afraid to wear brighter colors like orange, blue and yellow to stand out. And yes, v-neck is better – especially if you are height and weight challenged.
Women - If you want to look a bit more feminine or you’re going out for a lunch date, a dress is always the best option. Go for loose jersey dresses with thin straps. You should have dresses that you can accessorize with jackets or cardigans in the winter.
Bottoms equal JEANS. Dark, light, colored, skinny, straight, or boot-cut. Whatever the style you must wear jeans, and lots of them.
Fall/Winter - It’s a good idea to get yourself a good jacket or a multi-purpose jacket/blazer, some simple cardigans and sweaters that you can slip on top of your t-shirts.
Shoes - Sandals and converse in EVERY color. For nights out a plain black shoes or something a bit trendier that compliments your outfit. Remember, the KEY is not to match but to compliment colors, shades, and textures.
Jewelry - A simple gold pendant or a few tribal bracelets would add a bit of glam to your outfit, but a very good watch will set you apart – quality over quantity!!
Accessories for men and women: Sunglasses, bags, belts, blackberry or I-phone, and a BMW, the BIGGER the better.
Botox and white teeth are must.
